Wedding photography? I grant it’s a stretch to call this group of images wedding photography. Just scroll down past them if you’re in a hurry, and you’ll see plenty of that. But here’s the thing: I was just in California (the Bay Area and Big Sur)–for a wedding!–and all around there were scenes begging to be photographed. Some were associated with wedding events, some not.

Who’s that? You thought I was the photographer at this wedding! That’s the inimitable and invaluable David Spellman, who flew in from Los Angeles to shoot this wedding possibly by himself, since I was recovering from back surgery and didn’t know whether I’d be up to job. In the event I was fine and we had the pleasure of shooting together.
